Hans Thoolen on Human Rights Defenders and their awards

President Volodymyr Zelensky and the people of Ukraine were named recipients of the International Four Freedoms Award 2026. 

This award is part of an annual tradition commemorating the “Four Freedoms” articulated by U.S. President Franklin D.
