Big Brother Awards try to identify risks for human rights defenders

For a blog that claims to focus on awards for human rights defenders, it is good to pay some attention to awards to go to authorities and corporations that may violate the rights of human rights defenders. [see e.g. https://humanrightsdefenders.blog/2014/05/30/right-to-privacy-in-the-digital-age-of-importance-to-human-rights-defenders/]The Big Brother Awards are examples.
