MEA LAUREATE AL-HASSANI ATTACKED IN JAIL

On 28 October 2010 MEA laureate Muhannad Al-Hasani in Syria was reportedly attacked by one of the common criminals he shares a cell with, resulting in a cut in his forehead, requiring 10 stitches.

    This is terrible… where were the prison guards??? what were they doing? What if this situation continues????

    I suppose the common criminal will now get early release? Always helps to do the government a favour, no doubt.
